Also, I find it oddly ironic/appropriate that on the day the Judge Samuel Alito is bloody confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice (the Dems have failed yet again), Coretta Scott King has passed away. A true death of Civil Liberties in this country. And in a few minutes, Fearless Leader will step up to the podium, deliver a speech that will run 43 minutes without applause littered with chicanery, and try to win back some of his dropping approval points. If this were a civil law suit, we would be suing GW on the grounds of bad faith. He has failed this country time and again. He failed the good people of New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina, he failed the people of this country in sending us into a war unprepared and under false pretenses.
And now he's daring to talk about Coretta Scott King. ARGH..... He's such a slimy, smirking SOB -- how has this country allowed him to continue in this manner? Where did Democracy go? Where are my civil liberties? Gonna watch the rest of this after I pour myself a stiff drink....
