Ah, Previews

So tonight my show goes into previews. It's a bit nerve-wracking -- this is my first professional-no-college-affiliate-getting-paid-for-not-fucking-it-up-working-
both-boards Stage Management gig. That's a bit scary. I've been fine all throughout tech, but the space that we're in doesn't have a booth as such, so I'll pretty much be hanging out in a corner of the theatre, working lights and sound and taking line notes. The show runs through the 18th of Feb. so this will be many of my evenings until then. It's a small outfit, but I am actually really proud of the show. For a small budget show, it looks fucking fantastic.
Today was a first in rehearsals: I had to put my creative skills to work to calm down some very upset designers. They were all kind of stepping on each others' toes and stressed, so I got to do the fun SM thing and attempt to keep the LD from walking. Good times. But the end of rehearsal, though, everything was hunky-dory.

If you do happen to be in the Chicago area between now and the 18th of February, pleace come and see the show! Info can be found by clicking on the promo pic. It's Edward Albee for fuck's sake... can you really go wrong?

That is all.
